What To Expect
At Bui Psychological Services, I aim to create a safe environment for my clients. I do not want you to do anything you’re uncomfortable with during your visit. For this reason, I’ve taken a lot of care to prepare my clients for what they can expect when working with me.

Leading up to your appointment, please take your medications as prescribed. Feel free to jot down notes of your personal experiences and questions that are on your mind so we can discuss them during our visit.
My goal is for you to feel comfortable and welcome during your appointments. I won’t require you to make eye contact, stay in your seat, etc.

My evaluation process has three core parts: Conceptualize, Diagnose, and Recommend. You can expect to be scheduled for 3-4 appointments. Some of these appointments can be done online, while others are required to be in person. If you are interested in online appointments, let me know, and I’ll schedule you for telemedicine for the parts of the evaluation we can do.
Conceptualize
During the clinical interview, I aim to identify emotional and behavioral problems and needs. Then, I’m able to develop a strategy for your psychological evaluation.
Diagnose
You will be scheduled for a comprehensive evaluation where I gather information from you on how you relate to the world socially and help you acknowledge distinctive patterns of behaviors.
Recommend and use resources available
At the feedback appointment, I’ll discuss the evaluation results with you and provide meaningful recommendations to help your growth journey. You will receive the final report at the end of the meeting.
How to Get To The Office

Our building will undergo floor renovations in July. Some appointments will shift to telehealth. In-person visits may require using alternate entrances or stairwells. Please check your appointment reminders for updated instructions or contact our office with any questions. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
Bui Psychological is located at 808 P Street STE 450, Lincoln, NE 68508. It’s right above Vincenzo’s. If you’re coming from P Street, use the same door as Vincenzo’s. It is handicap accessible and will take you down the corridor to an elevator.
You may also enter the building through the Haymarket Square courtyard (the entrance is located below a blue awning). The elevator is located to the right upon entry from the courtyard. My office is located on the 4th floor.
Parking
Haymarket Garage Parking Validation
I can validate parking at the Haymarket Garage, 848 Q Street, Lincoln, NE 68508. This parking garage is within one block (a 4-minute walk) from my office. If you choose to park in the Haymarket Garage, you will receive a coupon to use upon exiting the garage and will not need to pay for parking.
For those with noise sensitivity, walk to my office building using 8th Street because 9th Street can be very busy and loud.
Parking at the Haymarket garage is recommended for clients coming for their initial intake or evaluation appointments.
Meter Parking
Meter parking is available in front of the building (handicap accessible). These meters will provide up to two hours of parking. If you park at a meter, note your vehicle license plate number so that I can pay for your parking for the duration of your appointment. You will not need to pay at the meter.
Recurring clients may email me your license plate number(s) to expedite the payment process. Parking in front of the building is recommended for those coming for their initial intake, feedback, or therapy appointments.
